Bard

Bard

MS Bard represents the second battery-electric sightseeing vessel we have proudly constructed for Brim Explorer. Sailing in the wake of its predecessor, MS Brisen, the vessel can accommodate up to 149 passengers and features the iconic exterior design that has become a hallmark of Brim Explorer.

MS Bard boasts notable modifications in its hull design compared to MS Brisen. The most significant change is the transition from a straight bow to an inclined one, a design choice aimed at enhancing the vessel's sea-keeping capabilities. Additionally, we have raised the main deck, increasing the freeboard of the vessel.

What truly sets the MS Bard apart from other designs is its groundbreaking propulsion system. Powered by state-of-the-art 350kW high-torque electric engines from Brim Tech, and coupled with 1700mm FP propellers, this system operates seamlessly without the need for a traditional reduction gearbox.
